In this documentary, Rebounds, we follow the careers of two basketball players who have been humbled after receiving the news that they have not made it to the NBA. Thousands of others find themselves in similar positions and are left wondering what to do next. One option is to leave the United States and to play basketball for a league in another country, often very far from home. Many go overseas to Europe, Asia, or anywhere basketball is played and paid.

This documentary follows the lives of Tim Jones and Derrick Miller during their season in Chile playing in Puente Alto CD. Crossing the tension of the game with their experiences off the court this film gives insight of the life of basketball players that have moved overseas in order to make a living.

If you’re a sports fan, or want a deeper appreciation for what sports players go through on their road to the majors – or descent, you will enjoy this documentary.
